Brother and KnowBe4 advice on tackling cyber attacks

Cyber Training Guide with KnowBe4

A guide from Brother and KnowBe4 to help keep your business safe from cyber threats.

Concerns over cybersecurity threats are constantly increasing in our everyday lives and businesses: Hackers, phishing, ransomware, malware, backdoors to name just a few of the threats facing us today... The truth is that the risk of suffering a fraudulent attack or theft (or loss or destruction or kidnapping or leak) of data has never been so large – or so expensive. Attacks can cost businesses more than 4 million euros on average, according to 2023 data.

And not surprisingly, business leaders are becoming increasingly worried about how attacks could hit their organization and whether the IT department would be able to deal with it. According to a survey conducted by Brother, more than half (54%) of companies say that their technology areas are not sophisticated enough to handle advanced cyberattacks such as those that are happening to businesses every day.

People are your weakest link in cybersecurity

No matter how many physical or computer barriers we install, humans are always the last line of defence. And with human error being identified as a major factor in 95% of cyber breaches, making employee training and awareness is crucial for any cybersecurity strategy.

In partnership with Cyber Security experts KnowBe4, we have investigated the main cyber security challenges businesses are facing and have developed a practical guide that will help combat the three main threats: phishing attacks, malware and network security. The guide provides detailed strategies for addressing these threats, including the implementation of regular training programs, simulated phishing tests, and robust security protocols.
